How am I billed?

All bills are sent monthly via e-mail. All payments are due upon receipt.

How soon do you start a maintenance task?

We try to start all tasks immediately upon receipt of request and content.  Maintenance requests received on Monday, Tuesday or any major holiday will not be started until the next regular business day.

Who is responsible for checking my website for maintenance?

You are! FainCo does not do any maintenance without the authorization of the client.

How do you connect to my website to make the changes?

When you sign-up for one of our maintenance plans, you must provide the username and password given to you by your Website Hosting company.

What are some typical update requests you receive?

  • Update of company specific data
  • Replacing photos & image size reduction (for a faster loading site)
  • Updating a price list
  • Adding or changing E-Mail addresses or phone numbers
  • Rewriting a paragraph
  • Adding additional paragraphs (Provided it can fit into your existing format)
  • Updating links, inserting new links
  • Spelling, punctuation and grammar changes

What about special needs such as website redesign, adding new pages, feedback forms, animated graphics, banner ads, custom graphics, and/or video/audio?

I only have a few things to update; do I have to sign up for a monthly plan?

Then our Pay-As-You-Go-Plan is the one for you. Only pay for what you need done.

I want to change information that's on every page of my site. Will that cost me a lot?

In most cases, we're able to use a find/replace feature in our software to change a text item that occurs on multiple pages. Graphics that occur on every page can be replaced by overwriting the graphic. These techniques are fairly quick, enabling us to make consistent changes very quickly, even on large websites.

Will you fix my spelling, punctuation, grammar or wording?

Our staff has professional editing experience and would be happy to assist with spelling, punctuation, grammar, or wording of your text as long as you request us to do so.

What if I don't have any updates in a month or I don't use my full ½ hour (or other amount I've committed to)?

Time does not accrue from month to month. If you find you are not getting the most for your money with your current plan, you may want to switch to our Pay-As-You-Go-Plan.

What happens if I let my Maintenance Plan lapse?

If you do not send regular monthly payments for your Maintenance Plan, your plan will be terminated. A plan is deemed terminated if your monthly payment is not received 10 days after your due date. If you wish to start using our Maintenance program again, a fee of $50 will be assessed along with your first months payment.
